About this deal

See here for a gold medal video guide. You finish this mission very close to all the herbs you need for challenges 4 and 5 The Spines of America - the next task involves stealing a stagecoach from Bob Crowford. The quest involves a theft, and you can proceed with the mission either at daytime or under cover of night. Les Tresor Des Morts Map 1: There are a bunch of burned-down houses and only one is left standing (a prison cell). Go inside the one building that’s not burned and to find the map next to a dead body.

Availability: The first two map parts are available from chapter 2 onward. However, the treasure can only be reached after you get to the Epilogue in the story. So basically, you’ll want to beat the game first for this one. Description: Those who prosper in the wilderness are skillful and self-sufficient. Craft 1 cooking recipe, 1 tonic, 1 type of ammunition, 1 hunting item, 1 horse care item, and 1 weapon. Robberies My only advice for this one is save it for when you are in an unproductive mood and unlikely to accomplish anything in game or real life for a couple of hours. I ground this one out whilst desperately hung-over on a Saturday morning. I certainly wasn't going to be doing the Sharpshooter challenges, or going out for a 5k run - you get the picture. The leather working tools are required to update the Van der Linde camp, and upgrading the camp is one of the more interesting things to focus on while hunting for the various animals.Conversely there are some tasks that literally cannot be finished until after Chapter 6 is completed. This obviously marks a major point of change in the story, and it's therefore helpful to consider which tasks you should aim to achieve before, after, and which should straddle this point. The game offers the possibility of creating manual save games - choose the option (Story) from the pause menu. This is very helpful, because there are choices to be made in many missions. It is advisable to create a manual save before the start of each larger mission. You can also repeat story missions by selecting them from the pause menu - Progress and then Story Mode. This is a good way if you want to win a gold medal. Unfortunately, the game does not remember your choices this way. If you want them to be fixed, play the mission from the manual save you made beforehand. Red Dead Redemption 2 isn't overly clear about how it saves your progress, so the autosave functionality can leave you a bit concerned about losing progress. As far as we can work out, the autosave in Red Dead Redemption 2 saves on these conditions: The Artist's Way - this side mission consists of four parts. In each of them, Arthur meets in Saint Denis with the titular artist, Charles Chatenay.

Not required for 100% but I would recommend doing this as it will make the rest of your quest so much easier. See here for a playlist of all the requirements

Red Dead Redemption 2: FAQ

Treasure Maps - There are two sets (and one bonus set) of Treasure Maps that lead to lots of money. Here's how to find the first maps in each set. Gang members will also loot downed bodies, so move fast or they’ll bogart all the extra cash and ammo. Legendary Animals and Fish Locations and Map - A map with every legendary animal and how to make them appear. The game world opens in the second chapter, i.e. after leaving the camp in the mountains and reaching the camp at Horseshoe Overlook. From this point on, Arthur Morgan has access to all the areas available in the main storyline, with the exception of the State of New Austin (a region known from the first Red Dead Redemption).
