And y’all normally like Ana Huang toxic men but Kai was not that. She LITERALLY meant it when she made a video saying Kai will be extremely different and very VERY gentlemanly. But I ate it up. Wanna know why? Because if my man isn’t like Kai, who reads books, doesn’t swear, abides the law, but will break for you if someone just stares at you… then I don’t want him. ✋ So remember when I wrote this sentence below? Mhm YEA bishes this claim still stands Kai is mine body and soul and I will literally let this man devour me.⬇️

To the outside world, they look like American royalty, giving to charities, feeding the homeless, and rebuilding the city. But behind closed doors is a constant battle for dominance between two bosses, cultures, and hearts. Isabella’s frivolous character and vivid personality were enjoyable for most of the storyline. The way her personage kept adding some surprising and little plot twists here and there brought some life and colors into the plot-line. He just randomly put his hand on her thigh somewhere in the beginning like pls don’t 😃😃😃 if you do that again, I will pull a Christian move on you- but no seriously, I don’t like it when characters just randomly touch the main character like that. I had the same issue with twisted lies when Christian just randomly gave Stella a 3 second kiss and put his hand on her thigh- consent should always be a thing and it can be given in multiple ways. Don’t just randomly have your characters touch each other like that. Where in the world is the progress and consent ? It’s all just unrealistic The smut, whether you read it or skip it, just takes you out of the emotional state you were in bc, obviously, it brings up a different vibe.

The ending was perfect and beautiful and I'm glad that their families are accepting them as well. I'm so happy that Kai and Isa found each other and worked their differences and fell in love.

The second to last smut scene (or last idk) was….. just awkward. I’m sorry I can’t stop laughing 😭😭😭 I don’t want to say too much about it, but it was random and once again not fitting in the story. Yk she was trying to make it hard for him and taking it step by step- doing what you guys did is not taking it step by step🧍‍♀️ slow burn is what this book was missing. It feels like that scene was just put there to give the people more smut but I don’t think people that like reading smut want to see it during scenes where it is not needed & weird (but taste differ obviously). After his and Elena’s first encounter ends with an accidental glare on her part, she realizes he’s just as rude as he is handsome. She doesn’t like the man or anything he stands for, though that doesn’t stop her heart from pattering like rain against the glass when he’s near, nor the shiver that ghosts down her spine at the sound of his voice. Also, the reason for my 3-star rating is because I liked Isa & Kai as individual characters. The story and all was meh- okay. Isabella was a truly unique character with a personality that was equal parts sassy, charming, and witty. I loved her sassiness and her willingness to speak her mind, even if it meant ruffling a few feathers. However, despite her confident exterior, she had her insecurities, which often affected her deeply. Overall, Isabella was a complex character that I loved for her flaws and all, and her sassy, charming, and witty personality always kept me engaged and entertained. 💜 This valhalla club... I had so many BIGGER expectations about it!! You could have gotten the same result with an overpaidNo hate to anyone 🫶 If you did like this book that’s totally fine, everyone’s taste is different 😊 you don’t need to agree with me After finishing the Twisted series, I was so exited to learn about this new series by Ana Huang. So when I finally got the opportunity to start reading I dived right in. I had guessed all the couples after reading KOW but Ana introduced us to so many new characters. 🫣 ALSO I JUST FOUND OUT THAT THERE ARE 7 BOOKS IN THIS SERIES! HAJABSKKAKAA 💃✨✨ Although this story was a bit predictable, I loved it. I loved the chemistry and romance between Vivian and Dante and I definitely didn’t want this story to end. It took some time for Vivian and Dante to get closer, but I enjoyed their little banters.
