The Valentine night gig was fantastic, all excelled.

Superb Trumpet from Gabriel and giving all the ladies a rose was a romantic touch. I bet it was Pat's idea.

Dear T.Tigers,

I really enjoyed the Valentines evening, thank you.

Your music is uplifting and happy. Practically everyone was up on their feet from the beginning and we were all singing along to fantastically performed, well loved classics.

Some people who could not get tickets stood listening outside - a rare compliment.

Great fun.

Best wishes

Re:  Christmas Ball at Loseley Park

Dear Pat

I just wanted to thank you and your fellow band members for making our Christmas Ball the great success it was at Loseley Park on Saturday night.

It was a shame that our dinner was slightly delayed, as we would have enjoyed hearing more from the band - you certainly had us all up dancing!

This morning we've received  lots of lovely comments from our colleagues (as this was the first time our "Social Committee" have put together an event) and we haven't heard anything remotely negative!

So, please thank everyone involved for the part they played in making our evening such a great success!

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you all.

Re: Wedding Reception 26th July

Thank you all for making our wedding evening reception so very special. The marquee exploded with excitement and everyone has commented on what a super band you are. There were people who do not normally dance up there on the dance floor “going for it!”. The music was outstanding and Sarah was fantastic - cannot wait until the next time! Thanks again.

Webmaster writes: Thanks for your kind words, greatly appreciated by all the Tigers. When you say 'can't wait for the next time', I guess you refer to hearing the Tigers again - not your next wedding reception!! We wish you every happiness, perhaps we'll see you at the Tigers' next public gig on 25th October. All the details on the 'Forthcoming Events page.

Re: New Year's Eve - 2007

Dear Tamla Tigers
I would just like to write and say how much we enjoyed watching the Tiger Tamlas performing on New Year's Eve at the Lancaster Hall in Send, near Woking.  Along with ten friends, I partied the night away, listening and dancing to a fabulous selection of music from the Motown era.

Despite the fact that the band was one member short, in as much as Alan was unwell on the evening, they still managed brilliantly, to deliver the goods as always.

We had a great time and the only trouble was that the evening was over far too soon, albeit it was nearly 1 a.m. when we left!

Roll on the next gig - we will be there! Thank you, Tamlas!

Re:  A Grrrrrreat evening!

Hello Pat,

Thanks to you and the other members of the band, we had a grrrrreat evening on Saturday.

I have to say, I'm a little puzzled as to why you're called the TAMLA Tigers, because I thought that the soul classics you performed were better than the Motown, and even better than that...
...were the R and B numbers!

Webmaster writes: Thanks for your generous comments which are greatly appreciated. I hope those of you who have been so kind as to write to the Tigers will join us to get 2008 off to a really great start - see the NEW YEAR'S EVE details on the 'Forthcoming Events' page.

Thanks to you and the band for making the 'Old Birds Bash' such a successful evening - everyone enjoyed themselves and all remarked on what  a great performance. Lots of sore feet have been reported!

A query for you - do you record the sessions? If so, would it be possible to have a copy?

Many Thanks

That venue at Lakeside must go down in the annals of history, as the greatest in UK soul music. The performance was simply the best in the business and I think the audience were spellbound all night.

It was breathtaking and I've never seen so many dancers on the floor, all night. I feel an entry on the Tiger's website coming on, to celebrate.

I know I am a hardcore fan, but that was something special mein Herr -  the band exceeded their own natural brilliance. How do you describe that in a few measly lines of scribble?

I couldn't find anyone for about 20 mins, because it was so packed and I just sat back with a beer and enjoyed the music.

I can't wait for the next one - please make it soon.

Just curious

These Tigers are way ahead of the old stripey suited dude in the forest. Ever seen this quadruped make an instrument come alive, or sing note perfect, or hold an audience spellbound- I don't think so. However it's probably best to avoid him if you're in the jungle and instead get on down to the Tamla Tiger's next gig, where you can feed on some 'soul food'.

You may have to ride around ( Sally), to see them but, give them some respect on stage ( and when they get home). They're not an Average White Band - they're an exceptional one, so put them where you want them - back on stage again! Just move on up to their gigs, but don't get too near to the stage, or you'll burn baby, burn - these guys are hot. Is that ok Pat - can I have the money now?
